Chosing my first telescope …?

I'm into astronomy a lot lately and I got a telescope would like to buy. Something that I have a clear picture of Can get the planets and the moon. Since I have no experience with the use of a telescope i need one that is good for beginners. € 300 is my limit, which is enough for good? Is this a good one? http://www.astroshop.de/en/telescopes/skywatcher/reflectors/skywatcher-150-1200mm-eq-3-2 If you can not tell me what is …. Thanks in advance

Sure. Why not! But more telescopes are better than one.

Cartwheel galaxy, multi-wavelength image Photo Mugs

Cartwheel galaxy, multi-wavelength image Photo Mugs

Cartwheel galaxy, multi-wavelength image. Around 100 million years ago, a smaller galaxy passed directly through the centre of the Cartwheel galaxy. This caused shock waves to propagate out through the galaxy, which caused bursts of star formation. The bright blue ring marks the region where huge, powerful ultraviolet-emitting stars have formed. The inner orange ring is the second wave, but this h…

Colliding galaxies Arp 148, HST image Photo Mugs

Colliding galaxies Arp 148, Hubble Space Telescope (HST) image. Also known as Mayalls Object, this structure is the result of a collision between two galaxies. The result of the collision was an elongated galaxy (left) and a ring-shaped galaxy (right), the two shapes caused by the shockwaves produced by the collision. Arp 148 is 500 million light years from Earth, in the constellation of Ursa Majo…

Stargazing: Astronomy Without a Telescope

Stargazing: Astronomy Without a Telescope

$44.21

On a clear night, the vastness and beauty of the star-filled sky is awe inspiring. In Stargazing: Astronomy without a Telescope Patrick Moore, Britain’s best known astronomer, tells you all you need to know about the universe visible to the naked eye. With the aid of charts and illustrations, he explains how to "read" the stars, to know which constellations lie overhead, their trajectory throughout the seasons, and the legends ascribed to them. In a month-by-month guide he describes using detailed star maps of the night skies of both the northern and southern hemispheres. He also takes a look at the planets, the Sun and the Moon and their eclipses, comets, meteors, as well as aurorae and other celestial phenomena–all in accessible scientific detail. This captivating book shows how, even with just the naked eye, astronomy can be a fascinating and rewarding hobby–for life.

Here is a one-volume guide to just about everything computer-related for amateur astronomers Todaya (TM)s amateur astronomy is inextricably linked to personal computers. Computer-controlled "go-to" telescopes are inexpensive. CCD and webcam imaging make intensive use of the technology for capturing and processing images. Planetarium software provides information and an easy interface for telescopes. The Internet offers links to other astronomers, information, and software. The list goes on and on. Find out here how to choose the best planetarium program: are commercial versions really better than freeware? Learn how to optimise a go-to telescope, or connect it to a lap-top. Discover how to choose the best webcam and use it with your telescope. Create a mosaic of the Moon, or high-resolution images of the planets… Astronomy with a Home Computer is designed for every amateur astronomer who owns a home computer, whether it is running Microsoft Windows, Mac O/S or Linux. It doesna (TM)t matter what kind of telescope you own either – a small refractor is just as useful as a big "go-to" SCT for most of the projects in this book.
